Google announced an Algorithm change (you have to read it twice as it was a bit ‘different’ then previous spins).
They will looks at the layout of a webpage and the amount of content you see on the page once you click on a result. “Rather than scrolling down the page past a slew of ads, users want to see content right away. So sites that don’t have much content “above-the-fold” can be affected by this change. If you click on a website and the part of the website you see first either doesn’t have a lot of visible content above-the-fold or dedicates a large fraction of the site’s initial screen real estate to ads, that’s not a very good user experience. Such sites may not rank as highly going forward.” wrote Matt Cutts.
This algorithmic change will not affect sites who place ads above-the-fold to a normal degree, but will affect sites that go much further to load the top of the page with ads to an excessive degree or that make it hard to find the actual original content on the page. So this new algorithmic improvement tends to impact sites where there is only a small amount of visible content above-the-fold or relevant content is persistently pushed down by large blocks of ads.

The Google Maps API is a clever bits of Google technology that helps you take the power of Google Maps and put it directly on your own site. It lets you add relevant content that is useful to your visitors and customise the look and feel of the map to fit with the style of your site.
Are you ready for the new Google algorithm change?
I tend to think of "average" as reasonably able, but you must be prepared to spend some time on it too. YMMV.
But doable, and InDesign is really the default choice for page layout. forget, probably also need photoshop and Illustrator for other of the job, plus acrobat.
The problems are in producing something that looks the trouble and not like done it in Word. If you have any flair for design and colour and have good quality images then the software help much. Plus you need to know enough about printing technology to output something your printer can use.
My advice is to get a Visual guide book and take it from there. Or, get a professional to set you up, so you can just add the content. Good luck!
